Dear Reader,

We hope you will find this edition of our Directory useful as a quick reference to services available in Topsham, many of which are tucked away in courtyards and workshops off the main thoroughfare.

This Directory lists all members of the Topsham Traders Association, which aims to promote Topsham and support local business enterprise. In addition, the Directory includes some community facilities and other useful contact numbers.

HOW TO USE THIS DIRECTORY

At Your Service is arranged in alphabetical order of products and services, and can be used like a Yellow Pages directory. For your convenience there is also an alphabetical list of subscribers too.

Who are we?

A group of people who run their own business in and around the Topsham area. You do not need to be a shop-owner to become a member, anyone who runs their own business, large or small, can join.

What do we do?

Encourage visitors to Topsham by promoting the town and its amenities.
Encourage both local residents and traders to use Topsham's shops, trades and services.
Provide a united voice to other bodies such as Exeter City and Devon County Councils.
Provide a forum where your voice can be heard on local issues.
Provide local publicity about the many businesses which operate from the town.
Keep members up to date with views and news which may affect their business.
Financial support of both the topsham.org website and the topsham-traders.co.uk website.

Achievements

Purchase of Christmas lights to bring the town alive at Christmas time.
Christmas Tree displays over shopfronts and Town hall.
Each year flower baskets are organised and maintained throughout the town, again to encourage people to visit and bring their trade to the town.
Production of the Topsham Map, an informative guide to the town.
Production of the 'At Your Service' directory of local services. The directory is published in book form each year by optima graphics and is delivered to every local property on an annual basis. It is also published here on our site with the additional benefits of live links to the website of each trader and the ability to update the information during the year.
Provision of low cost internet solutions for the benefit of Topsham businesses and the community. See we-made-this.com for deails.

The latest traders directory has been printed and distributed. If you live in Topsham and haven't received one then see Paul of Paul Propery.

New information will be added to this site next week. New pages are being made so that you can apply for domain names and hosting facilities - help pages and some technical information will be added too.
